Wedding Limousine Hire Part 2 - Alcohol, Food, Child Seats and Seat Belts.
So you have chosen the limousine of your dreams, met with the company, had the vehicle inspection. It was everything you wanted and more but have you covered everything to do with the hiring of the vehicle? Well the answer is probably no.....
Most limousine companies have many terms and conditions to not only protect you the client but also themselves.
Listed below are just a few items that you need to be aware of.
Child Restraints & Seat Belts.
The same rules apply when sitting in the back of a Limousine that applies to riding in the family car.
There is a seat belt supplied for each client.
Children must be seated in an appropriate booster seat where necessary and restrained at all times.
It is probably more practical if you are having children in the back of the limousine on your wedding day that you bring their own child seat.
Not only will it be familiar for them but also no adjustments will be necessary..
Check with your limousine company to see if they have approved anchor points fitted.

Alcohol & Drinking in Public.
Drinking of alcohol in any vehicle including limousines is not permitted at anytime unless the vehicle has a liquor license.
Currently only a handful of companies in Perth have this license.
Fortunately, the police recognise that it is a wedding and they will generally turn a blind eye.
But be mindful that this could possibly change at any time. A lot depends on the attitude of your wedding party so dont do anything that could cause the police to forget its your wedding day.
When getting out of the limousine to do your photos leave your drinks in the vehicle. You can always get them once the photographer has the shoot organised.
Each limousine company may have its own alcohol policy so check with them before bringing any on board.
Food in the Limousine.
Check with the limousine company, some do not mind while others have strict rules regarding what you can and cannot have.
Consider bringing something to eat whilst photos are being taken, remember it is going to be a long day and if you are having a few drinks then a light snack in between photographs certainly does not hurt.

We were hoping to carry an eskie with us on the photo shoot while out of the limo but it looks like that may not be a wise move.
